Cacio e Pepe is a Roman pasta dish that translates to “cheese and pepper”. The simple dish consists of spaghetti, black pepper and Pecorino Romano cheese.
The “invention” of this dish, now perceived as a Roman classics, probably dates to the 1800s, when pasta became popular in the Italian capital.
Use: Ready to be used, no cooking is needed. You can use the product directly from the jar. If you want to warm it up, remove the cap and put it in a bain-marie or in the microwave oven (minimum temperature). As pasta condiment, add to the chosen pasta and pan-fry for 1-2 minutes.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight and warm surfaces. Once opened refrigerate and consume within a few days.
