French Olive Cake

 

No mixer needed! A savoury cake that is sooo delish and a breeze to make!

Ingredients:

Directions: 

  1. Heat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4.
  2. Combine the flour and baking powder with a pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a large jug, beat together the eggs, milk, cream and olive oil.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the flour and stir until combined.
  5. Stir in the parmesan, olives and basil.
  6. Pour the mixture into a tin lined with parchment paper, then bake for 30-35 minutes until risen and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and cool in the tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a cutting board.
  8. Cut into 40 squares and serve warm as a snack.
