No mixer needed! A savoury cake that is sooo delish and a breeze to make!
Ingredients:
- 60g plain flour
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 50g double cream
- 15ml Oro Bailén Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 75g grated parmesan cheese
- 75g La Explanada Gourmet Sliced Green Olives
- 1 tablespoon chopped basil leaves
Directions:
- Heat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4.
- Combine the flour and baking powder with a pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl.
- In a large jug, beat together the eggs, milk, cream and olive oil.
- Pour the egg mixture over the flour and stir until combined.
- Stir in the parmesan, olives and basil.
- Pour the mixture into a tin lined with parchment paper, then bake for 30-35 minutes until risen and golden.
- Remove from the oven and cool in the tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a cutting board.
- Cut into 40 squares and serve warm as a snack.
